A MOTHER'S DAY MOMENT
With PIPPA and maggie
This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating one of our own - Palm Noosa founder and creative director, Pippa Stone, as she marks her first year of motherhood with her beautiful daughter, Maggie.
Pippa shares her reflections on new mum life and how motherhood is inspiring her both personally and creatively.
This is your first Mother’s Day with Maggie — how does it feel?
"Very surreal and exciting! Becoming a mum has been such a transformative and beautiful experience. Mother’s Day feels like a real milestone — a moment to pause and celebrate the love, chaos, and joy that Maggie has brought into my life."

How has becoming a mother influenced your approach to Palm Noosa?
"Motherhood has reminded me to really wear and enjoy my wardrobe, not just save pieces for special occasions. It’s made me appreciate comfort, simplicity, and quality more than ever, and to design with real, everyday life in mind. There’s beauty in creating timeless pieces that women can truly live in."
What's your favourite piece from Palm Noosa for busy mum life?
"I love a dress or matching set that I can just throw on and instantly feel put-together — our new season styles were designed with exactly that kind of effortless elegance in mind.
If I had to choose a favourite, it would be the Montana Dress in Flower Ceramics. I love how easily you can switch up the vibe with different shoes and accessories — lean into the trending cowgirl aesthetic with a pair of boots or keep it soft and feminine with heels or sandals. I'm obsessed! And I’m equally obsessed with dressing Maggie to match the look I’m going for every day …I’m soaking up every moment before she gets to an age she will want to dress herself!"
What’s your perfect way to spend Mother’s Day?
"Slow and simple — cuddles in bed with Maggie, followed by a morning walk with my family with smoothies in hand. Maybe a beautiful picnic lunch on the beach and soaking up time together. Then an early dinner at one of my favourite restaurants."

A piece of advice you’d share with other new mums?
"Have fun! Be kind to yourself. There’s no perfect way to do motherhood. Trust your instincts, lean into the moments that bring you joy, and remember you’re doing an amazing job."
